BIO-COMET, Bioreactor-based, clinically oriented manufacturing of engineered tissues
BIO-COMET
iCRO
BIO-COMET, Bioreactor-based, clinically oriented manufacturing of engineered tissues, is a four-year research project, which has been supported by the European Union under its Seventh Framework Programme, FP7, and has ended in November 2015. The project aims at the development and pre-clinical testing of a sensor-based bioreactor system for the production of functional, autologous engineered grafts with reproducible properties. The bioreactor-based manufacturing paradigm has focused on cartilage repair. To achieve these goals, BIO-COMET has brought together internationally renowned leaders in the field of regenerative medicine, from academic, clinical and industrial research institutions.
We are delighted that many of the speakers at the iCRO conference are partners in BIO-COMET.
